These earrings feature an "ear jacket" style closure. The front piece is a traditional post with a short chain. The longer chain is securely attached to the butterfly push-back. When you put the earring on and secure the back, the longer chain drops beautifully from behind your earlobe.

Can I wear the front stud without the long back chain?
