A lab-created marquise pink sapphire at the centre, flanked by lab-created round brilliant moissanite accents, all prong set along a curved chevron (V-shaped) band — handcrafted in Jaipur in 925 sterling silver, yellow plated, or rose plated. The chevron band angles upward from both sides to meet at the centre stone, creating a V-profile that frames the marquise sapphire at the apex. The curved band is designed to nest flush against a straight-banded solitaire engagement ring in a bridal stack, or to wear as a standalone curved-band engagement or promise ring.
Stone Details
-
Centre Stone: Lab-created pink sapphire (corundum) — marquise cut; prong set; vivid pink; September birthstone
-
Accent Stones: Lab-created moissanite (silicon carbide) — round brilliant cut; colourless; prong set along the chevron band shoulders
-
Marquise Cut: An elongated oval cut with pointed ends at both terminations; the length-to-width ratio (typically 1.75–2.25:1) visually elongates the stone and the finger; oriented with the long axis running along the finger when worn as a solitaire, or across when used as a side stone
-
Chevron Band: A V-shaped or angled band that rises from the shank on both sides toward a central apex where the primary stone sits; the inward curve of the band creates a pointed silhouette at the front of the ring that echoes the pointed ends of a marquise cut stone; designed to pair with straight-banded rings in a bridal stack by nesting the V-curve against the adjacent band
-
Lab-Created Pink Sapphire (corundum) Mohs Hardness: 9 — the same as all corundum; second hardest natural mineral after diamond; excellent durability for everyday and engagement ring wear
-
Moissanite (silicon carbide) Mohs Hardness: 9.25 — harder than sapphire; exceptional durability
- Both stones lab-created and conflict-free; identical chemical and optical properties to their mined counterparts
- Lab-created pink sapphire is the September birthstone equivalent (natural pink sapphire is a September birthstone); lab-created moissanite is commonly associated with April as a diamond alternative

About Lab-Created Pink Sapphire
Pink sapphire is corundum (aluminium oxide) coloured pink by trace amounts of chromium, iron, or titanium — the same mineral species as blue sapphire and ruby; the colour name changes based on the chromium concentration and hue. Lab-created pink sapphire is grown using the Verneuil (flame fusion) or Czochralski (pulling) method, producing corundum with identical chemical composition and Mohs 9 hardness to mined pink sapphire. It is one of the hardest gemstone materials available for ring wear — resistant to scratching from all common sources except diamond and other corundum. The marquise cut maximises the visible surface area of the stone relative to its carat weight, making it appear larger than a round brilliant of equivalent weight.
About the Chevron Band
A chevron ring (also called a V-ring or curved band) is designed with its defining feature being the angled rise of the band from the shank toward the front stone. Unlike a straight or dome band that crosses the finger evenly, the chevron band angles upward on both sides, creating a visible V-point at the top. This geometry has two practical functions: (1) it frames the centre stone naturally within the V-apex, drawing the eye toward the stone from both sides; (2) it creates a curved inner profile that nests against a straight-banded adjacent ring in a bridal stack, allowing the chevron ring to sit flush against a solitaire without a gap between the two bands. The marquise cut on this ring echoes the pointed geometry of the V-band, creating a coherent pointed visual language from the band terminations through the stone outline.
Bridal Stack Pairing
This ring is designed to wear as a standalone engagement ring or as a bridal stack partner alongside a straight-banded solitaire. The curved inner profile of the chevron band creates the nesting gap needed to sit flush against a round, oval, or princess solitaire band. Wear it on the same finger as your engagement ring with the V-apex touching the solitaire setting, or on the opposite hand as a complementary promise ring.
